Art After Dark, a fundraiser for Belltown Art Walk
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Art After Dark: A Fundraiser for Belltown Art Walk Comes to the Labour Temple November 19
SEATTLE, WA (September 29, 2026): Belltown Art Walk invites art lovers, neighbors, and supporters to Art After Dark, an evening fundraiser celebrating the artists who keep Belltown creative. The event takes place Thursday, November 19, at 7 PM at the historic Labour Temple (2800 1st Ave, Seattle).
Guests can expect an evening of [live art / music / drinks / bites], plus an auction featuring work from local artists. Bidding opens November 18, and every ticket, purchase, and bid goes directly toward sustaining Belltown Art Walk's monthly programming, which brings free, open-door art experiences to the neighborhood.
Among the featured auction artists is Seattle muralist Angelina Villalobos, whose work already lives on Belltown's walls, including her murals El Rey and Giant Lotus.
“Belltown has given my work a home, so being part of this fundraiser feels like giving a little back. Every ticket helps keep art walk nights free and open for everyone, and helps artists like me keep showing up for this neighborhood.”
Supporters can also pre-order two limited-edition collectibles made by Belltown artists: the 2027 Belltown Artist Calendar ($30), a 12-month wall calendar, and the Artist Playing Card Deck ($25). Quantities are limited, and calendars will be ready for pick-up at the event.

Campeones del Sol: A Latino Heritage Pop-Up

Seattle Artist Angelina "179" Villalobos Soto to Celebrate Seahawks Latino Heritage Collection with Live Pop-Up at Populus Seattle
2026 Seattle Seahawks Latino HeritageCollection: Campeones del Sol by Angelina ‘179’ Villalobos Soto | Artist wearing T-shirt design.
Free signed prints, exclusive merch, and a live mural reveal mark First Thursday Art Walk in Pioneer Square
SEATTLE, WA — Seattle-born muralist and designer Angelina "179" Villalobos Soto will celebrate the launch of the Seattle Seahawks' 2026 Latino Heritage Collection with a public pop-up event on Thursday, October 1, during Pioneer Square's First Thursday Art Walk. The event will take place at Populus Seattle, in the RailSpur District at 100 S. King Street.
The collection's centerpiece design, Campeones del Sol (Champions of the Sun), reimagines the Mexican flag through a Pacific Northwest lens — trading the traditional eagle for a Seahawks-inspired osprey, the serpent for a salmon, and framing a football player rendered in Indigenous Mexican–inspired style beneath a golden sun. The piece appears across the Seahawks Pro Shop collection, including a hoodie, tee, and pin.
As part of the pop-up, Villalobos Soto will unveil a new 10-by-10-foot mural in the RailSpur alley, live-painted especially for the occasion. Attendees can shop the Latino Heritage Collection in person, receive a free signed print while supplies last, and meet the artist behind the design.
"Campeones del Sol is a reflection of who I am: a Mexican American Seattleite whose family stretches from San Antonio to Guerrero to right here at home," said Villalobos Soto. "I want people to see that you can be all of it at once — immigrant, migrant, first gen, proud Seahawks fan — and wear that pride without apology. When we all root for the same team, we all root for the same dream."
