A Look Back at the Luck Dragon Mural

Hello friends,

I'm excited to share a bit about a special project that holds a very significant place in my journey as an artist: the Luck Dragon Mural at the Microsoft Campus. It was such a treat to revisit the piece this past summer, amidst all the craziness, and get some fresh photos of it.

As a Seattle-based artist, I work to bring life and meaning to spaces through my murals. My work often blends the fantastical with the organic, a style deeply influenced by the Pacific Northwest. This project was a chance to bring that vision to a corporate campus, transforming a large, blank wall into something with a unique identity.

Creating this piece for the Microsoft Campus was an incredible opportunity. It was one of the largest projects I'd taken on and a milestone in my career. It was a true honor to be invited to create something so personal for such an expansive and busy space.

When approaching the design, I wanted the piece to feel dynamic and full of energy, like a creature in motion. The colors and shapes were chosen to create a visual flow, bringing an imaginative twist to the surrounding architecture. It was a joy to see this large-scale mural come to life.

I hope that everyone who walks by feels a sense of energy from the piece and that it adds a bit of unexpected art to their day.

A huge thank you to the team at Microsoft for trusting my vision and for their partnership on this project.
